Most of us have the wrong opinion that we get what we want
just by shouting. Well, that’s completely wrong. That technique might work at
home. But outside home shouting is just going to get you hit. Staying calm at
all times is the key to success. I personally feel so and I know for a fact
that its true. Say for example, you ask your dad for a pen and he says no. In
most houses the conversation would follow with you shouting for the pen and
your dad giving it to you. Now imagine you doing the same thing to a stranger
on the road. You definitely are going to get hit for shouting at some random
fellow on the road. There is a good chance that people nearby might also come
and join in on hitting you. Now, try asking politely, the stranger will
definitely refuse. If you want the pen real bad, trying pleading for it
politely and there are chances that he might give it to you. But remember not
to irritate the man just by your humble pleading. Excess of anything is bad,
even if good is in excess. From this small but lame example, you can learn that
shouting for something or at someone will do you no good when you are shouting
away from home. There are houses in which the parents teach the child to never
shout for anything at anyone and these kids are well trained to handle
themselves in public. But the other kids, who shout at their parents if they
are denied anything are really the ones this message is pointed to. Remaining
calm at all circumstances is an extremely difficult thing to do. But then, it
is also equally effective. We get angry for a lot of things. We might think
that we are angry for some reason. But mostly we aren’t angry because of what
triggers the anger in us. It can be anything. Irritated people show off their
frustration in the form of anger. Anger is to a relationship just like what a
stone is to glass. You throw a stone at a glass and it breaks. Similarly, you
get angry at someone and the relationship breaks or atleast gets damaged. If
you notice, people with calm heads usually make it biggest in life. MS Dhoni is
well known for his calm headedness and as we all know, he is the best captain
India has had so far. When you get angry, just think of the things you are
irritated with at that moment and you’ll realize that the situation that
triggered your anger isn’t really why you’re angry. It maybe because you’re
hungry, or because you had a bad day at college/work, or maybe because you are
irritated with someone else and you just need to let out your frustration in
some form. Anger is just the form in which you let out your frustration. People
with low frustration tolerance tend to get angry very easily. Instead of
letting out your frustration in the form of anger, try something different like
punching a pillow or moving out of the place. But in situations where you can’t
really do anything, for example, when your boss is shouting at you in your
workplace, you just have to control your emotions and stay put. Your attitude
is what matters most in the real world. Even if you lack the skills but have
the right attitude, nine times out of ten, it is going to be enough for you.
Just focus on your life and get over things easily. Don’t cultivate the habit
of clinging onto things too much, because if you cant move on in life, you will
be exactly where you are while people around you will keep moving ahead.
Basically all im trying to say is, don’t get too attached to something and
control your emotions and im sure your going to do well in life.
